Suspension And Workshop Overview

Keith Turner run's the workshop department at Race Spec. Keith is a former AMCA 500cc MX Champion & GP mechanic and has been involved in motocross for over 40 years. He helped found the Race Spec suspension and workshop department in 1991 and has continued to work his magic on suspension ever since. If you have a problem Keith will fix it.

Your suspension is one of the most important functions on your off road motorcycle and it must be set up to suit you. At Race Spec we offer this service and are well qualified to provide your suspension needs whether it be Motocross, Enduro and Trials. We can service or revalve and set up your suspension to suit your weight /ability and along with your input, we will make your bike work better.

We aslo undertake a full range of engine and chassis work which we can provide at a fixed hourly rate. For more info click on the "Engine & Chassis Work" Tab.

How Do I Book My Suspension In?

At Race Spec we have 3 main ways to book your suspension in for work. You can call or email us by following to the "Contact Us" link on this page. Or can call into store and book work in over the counter. Booking in over the counter we will take your suspension off of you (We will accept a full bike, and we have secure storage for your bike). When a whole bike is brought into the workshop there will be a added hourly charge for the time it takes to remove and re-install the suspension to your bike. But this will then intitle you a free set up when you come and collect your bike, so you can take your machine away fully set up and ready to race. We try our hardest to run a single week turn around policy on our suspension work. If booked in over the phone or email for collection. We would have your suspension picked up form your doorstep Monday/Tuesday and returned to you doorstep by Thursday/Friday. (Applies ONLY to UK mainland customers). The Collection delivery process will be sorted out by ourselves at Race Spec at a cost of £17.99.
